Presidential Road Trip
June 8, 2018
This week, I took a 728-mile New England road trip through presidential history. Five birthplaces. Four graves. Three libraries. Two churches. And one amateur historian driving alone. Adams. Quincy. Pierce. Coolidge. Kennedy. I won’t bore you with a thousand other pictures, but I do hope my friends and family know that when it comes to American history and presidential politics, I don’t surround myself with rumors and memes and partisan innuendo. I’m an educator, a research librarian, and a registered independent. And I always do my homework, whether it regards the current administration or those of a forgotten age. And to that end, I had a very, very good trip. Below is the page I built cataloging the major events in the life of Coolidge.
