Celebrating 20 Years at the Highest Point

With the advent of social media in the early part of our marriage, I always tended toward romantic words–poetry or some other grand testimony of what Melissa means to me–but seeing as we reached the highest point of Europe after two decades of marriage, I felt the location offered enough romance on its own. After a gondola over Grindelwald and a train through the mountain, we arrived at a quiet restaurant in Jungfraujoch where we ate fondue, played in the snow, and wandered through the slippery tunnels of a glacier in the Alps. Melissa even picked up a souvenir, a Swiss stuffed cow she named Colton. But the image of an Alpine Chough in flight was, perhaps, my best photo of the entire trip. We did good.
