The Beliefs of One and Many

Each brand of faith is like America from its core, some holding to an original doctrine, others brandishing some new evolution, each as certain (and sometimes as violent) as the other. But I can appreciate that for those who are religious, faith also offers some version of hope and anticipation of things to come, here or elsewhere. So with that said, I stopped by the grave of Joseph Smith last night, acknowledging that the beliefs of one have spawned the beliefs of many. He and his wife are buried just off the Mississippi River.

Alas, peace to my Mormon friends.
