I remember the day we passed by Notre Dame along the river in 2017. I remember that day because we were taken aback by its grandeur. There was simply no photo that could thoroughly capture the beauty of what we were seeing from the water. It was more than a building. It was the essence of Parisian elegance and history. A very sad day for the lovers of what once was.
